In addition to providing general contact information such as name and email address, those who take our assessments and questionnaires may be asked to provide information which includes, but is not limited to, gender, ethnicity, nationality, work experience (e.g., years of experience) and educational background (e.g., highest degree obtained). These additional questions are always optional and you will not be required to provide this information to use peoplefactors.com services. The answers that you do give are stored on a secure database. However they are not presented with your results, nor are they disclosed to any person. We use this information, in an aggregated form (that is in an anonymous form, grouped together with data from other people), to ensure that the exercises are fair for everyone and not biased towards any one group.

For those users who purchase services from us and/or administer assessments or questionnaires:

In addition to general contact information, we may collect other account-related information where appropriate, such as corporate banking account numbers (for payment purposes). We use this information to process your orders, market our products, provide technical support and customer service, and analyze your usage of our services. We may also obtain a credit report or similar financial background check on you from third party vendors, such as Dun & Bradstreet, to assist us in evaluating your request for our services. peoplefactors.com may, on occasion, directly contact you about new products, services, or special offers, but we will not pass on your details to any third parties without your express permission.

Assessment and questionnaire results, as well as the information you provide to peoplefactors as part of answering an assessment or questionnaire, will be shared with the entity who arranged the assessment or questionnaire for you. We may also disclose aggregate (and anonymous) information about a group of users for a such an entity. peoplefactors will not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us for purposes unrelated to the purposes and circumstances described in this Privacy Statement.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to obtain confirmation from peoplefactors that we have retained personal data about you, as well as a written description of the nature of that personal data, the purposes for which it is being used, the sources of the personal data and a list of the recipients with whom we have shared your personal data. You also have the right to request the modification or deletion of any personal information retained by peoplefactors that is inaccurate. For people completing assessments or questionnaires, you can do that by logging into the assessment.peoplefactors.com website and clicking on the My Data tab. You may also contact us at the address appearing at the end of this statement to inquire about your personal information. peoplefactors reserves the right to charge a modest fee for providing you access to your personal information.

Please note that assessment and questionnaire scores reflect your performance at a particular time and cannot be changed after the fact. Scores and other responses are often transmitted immediately to the entity who arranged the assessment or questionnaire for you. Upon reasonable request, peoplefactors will provide you an opportunity to access and update your personal information that we have on file. However we recommend that you check the requesting entity’s privacy policy for details on its information collection and use practices.

Unless you have expressly agreed or requested it, we will not send you any information of a promotional or marketing nature.

How do peoplefactors ensure the security of your information?

Our servers are housed in a secure building that is managed by Microsoft and meets or exceeds the ISO/IEC 27001 data security requirements. Our electronic, physical and procedural safeguards are designed to protect against the loss, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction of any information under our control.
To access secure parts of our websites you will have to enter a username and password or similar unique identifier. You are responsible for protecting the secrecy of your account information. hfi recommends that you use the latest browsers so as to take advantage of advances in security technology. Children

peoplefactors services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 and every user is asked to confirm that they are over 16 before providing us with any personal information.
