Welcome to the SCOPE Number Checking exercise.

This section of SCOPE assesses your speed and accuracy when identifying numbers. Although there is no time limit to this exercise, the computer will time how long you take to complete the test. Therefore it is essential that you are confident that you can use your mouse quickly and efficiently.

You will be presented with 4 columns of numbers, one pair of which will be highlighted in red. Your task is to decide as quickly as possible whether the pair of numbers are identical to each other or not. If they are identical you should click on Same and if they are not, click on Different.

In order to increase the speed of this exercise, your next pair of numbers will be highlighted as soon as you click on your answer i.e. you do not need to click Forward after each question.
